This module allows the user to view, add, edit or delete both academic and personal information on a student. The steps to add, edit or delete data at most of these tabs are the same. Separate instructions will be provided for the exceptions. There are number of tab under this module, namely:


  • Personal Information – Allows the user to view, add, or edit a student’s data such as date of birth, marital status, gender, nationality, native language, etc.
  • Contact Information – Allows the user to view, add, edit or delete a student’s data such as address, phone number and email address.
  • External Passes – Allows the user to view, add, edit or delete a student’s matriculation data i.e. examinations done and awards earned.
  • Academics – Allows the user to view, add, or remove the following student data: all courses taken, programme(s) of study, and acceptance information.
  • Other IDs – Allows the user to view, add, edit or delete a student’s identification details.
  • Student Documents – Allows the user to view, add, or remove the student’s documents such as birth certificate, examination certificate, ID card.
  • Status – Allows the user to view, add, edit or delete a student’s academic status.


Step 1 - To view Student Information:

  1. Click on the “Student Information” button then at the “Student Information” page enter the student’s ID number and click on the search icon. This populates the fields with the student’s information.
  2. See the “Advanced Search” section on how to search for the student’s record if ID number is not known.
  3. Click on the tab that contains the information which that you wish to view.

Step 2 - To add Student Information

  1. Click on the “Student Information” button then at the “Student Information” page click on the “New Student” button.
  2. Enter the student’s first and last name at the “New Students” dialogue box which pops up on the screen, select the year of entry from the drop-down list at the year field then click on “Create Entry”. You will be brought back to the “Student Information” page.
  3. Click the “Edit” button on the “Personal Information” tab, enter the required data then click on the “Save” button.
  4. To enter additional data at the other tabs on the “Student Information” page select the tab, click on the “Add” button, enter the required information then click on the “Save” button.


Step 3 - To Edit Student Information

  1. Click on the “Student Information” button then at the “Student Information” page enter the student’s ID number and click on the search icon. This populates the fields with the student’s information.
  2. See the “Advanced Search” section on how to search for the student’s record if ID number is not known.
  3. Click on the tab that contains the information which you want to edit, click on the “Edit” button, make the necessary changes then click on the “Save” button.


Step 4 - To Delete Student Information


  1. Click on the “Student Information” button then at the “Student Information” page enter the student’s ID number and click on the search icon. This populates the fields with the student’s information.
  2. See the “Advanced Search” section on how to search for the student’s record if ID number is not known.
  3. Click on the tab that contains the information which you want to delete, select/highlight it, click on the “Delete” button, confirm the action at the dialogue box which pops up on the screen  then click on the “Save” button.
