This allows the user to add a student’s name to the list of students who have a hold against their account.
- Click on the “Student Holds” button from any dashboard with this option. This brings the user to the “Student Holds Manager” page.
- Enter the student’s ID number and click on the “Find” button. This populates the name fields at the top of the page.
- Click on the “Select Term” button and follow the instructions under the “Term Selection” section to choose the appropriate semester for which the hold applies. Select the “Type of Hold” from the drop-down menu, type in your comments that describe the type of hold then click on the “Add Hold” button. If an error is made the user may click on the “Cancel” to start the process again.
- The student’s information will be added to the list of “Students on Hold” at the bottom section of the screen.
