Health Services is used to monitor students’ health status. To update a student’s record:
- Enter the student’s ID number and click on the “Find” button.
- If ID number is not known or if you wish to search by some other criterion you may use the “Advanced Search” button by following the instructions under “Student Information - Advanced Search”.
- At this page the user may add medical information on a student by entering:
a. the date that a medical was done, the expiry date for the medical (see section on “Date Fields” on how to enter dates)
b. comments in the “Comments” section
c. type of insurance student has by clicking on the one which is applicable
d. list any medical condition from which the student suffers by selecting it from the “List of Conditions”: - To add a condition select/highlight it at the “List of Conditions” then click on the button with the check mark.
- To remove a condition, select/highlight at the list of “Student Conditions” then click on the button with the ‘X’.
If the user wants to add a condition that is not listed, the instructions for setup utilities should help.
